Paracetamol is indicated for the treatment of fever and mild to moderate pain. It is also used as an alternative route of administration when oral intake is not possible.
The standard adult dose is 500mg to 1000mg every 4 to 6 hours, not exceeding 4000mg in a 24-hour period.
